Petit-Fernand labels review

With nursery looming in a number of weeks for Freddie, one stress we certainly don’t need is worrying about loosing his stuff or taking home some other poor kids jumper… Can I see myself having the time to sew in name labels and marker-pen his lunchbox? No. That’s why I’m so excited to have been given the opportunity to work with Petit-Fernand, reviewing their stick-on item labels, stick-on clothing labels and iron-on clothing labels.

***I was very kindly gifted my labels for the purpose of a review. All words and opinions are honest and my own***

My Birth Experience

We are all just a little apprehensive about giving birth – aren’t we?Especially for the first time. So, women want to hear real birth stories, right? All blood, placenta and episiotomies, yeah? (But then again, I wanted to bury my head in the sand and go into labour with my comfort blanket made of naivety and optimism.) Anyway, for those of you (crazy people) who want to hear real – this is my birth experience.

(This post first appeared on www.meetothermums.com)

There’s much talk about the loneliness new mum’s can face in the first few days, weeks and months of parenting. Being stranded at home alone with a newborn can be a daunting and isolating prospect. However, for me, the loneliness eventually came when I ventured back to work.

RootsandWingsParenting online baby massage course review

(This post first appeared on www.meetother mums.com)

I love the ethos here at meetothermums.com; not only does Sally (aka meetothermums) help mums to find their #mumtribe, but she also showcases great blog posts from fantastic members of the #BlogSquad. One of the best things about being part of the #BlogSquad is connecting with other #blogsquad members.

When Alexia, aka Roots and Wings Parenting, a fellow #BlogSquad member, invited me to take part in her unique RootsandWings online baby massage course, it was an opportunity too good to miss.

I suffer from milestone envy

(This post first appeared on www.meetothermums.com)

I’m not a ‘Competitive Mummy’ (I don’t think so anyway!) but I do suffer from milestone envy. This is the constant worry that my baby is somehow falling behind in his milestones as I watch other babies conquer them one after the other. I tell people that he’ll do it when he’s ready, but who am I really trying to convince?
