Petit-Fernand labels review

With nursery looming in a number of weeks for Freddie, one stress we certainly don’t need is worrying about loosing his stuff or taking home some other poor kids jumper… Can I see myself having the time to sew in name labels and marker-pen his lunchbox? No. That’s why I’m so excited to have been given the opportunity to work with Petit-Fernand, reviewing their stick-on item labels, stick-on clothing labels and iron-on clothing labels.

***I was very kindly gifted my labels for the purpose of a review. All words and opinions are honest and my own***

Ordering the labels:

We loved designing the labels on Petit-Fernand’s website, personalising them with Freddie’s name; combined with our choice of images, backgrounds and fonts (and there’s plenty to choose from!)

The labels arrived promptly, in a handy little booklet which included all the ‘How To Guides’ (which, if you’re like me where separate instructions could end up, well, who knows where… is just what’s needed.)

For the Stick-on Item labels, we opted for the lion motif.

With these labels attached, I’m hoping that I’ll never end up rooting around in the nursery’s dreaded ‘Lost Property Box‘ doing an impression of Cinderella, looking for a shoe which actually fits…

One real bonus for us, was being able to personalise the item stick-on labels with a ‘No Milk’ allergy icon – giving me extra piece of mind that it will remind people (i.e. at nursery) to think twice about what they’re giving to Freddie.

Whether it was in his shoes, drinks bottle or any other item, it really was as easy as it sounds; stick it on, job done. Perfect.

With the Stick-on Clothing labels we chose our favourite little lion again… The stick-on clothing labels, I now realise, are actually really useful for those non-iron clothing items i.e. Freddie’s plastic waterproof trousers and coat.

As Freddie’s only 15 months old he’s yet to express any preferences for what he’s ‘into‘ but I’m pretty sure we’ve covered all bases with the lion, and now these pirate and dinosaur Iron-on labels too – which I’m absolutely loving (whilst secretly thinking I should have gone Unicorn!)

With the iron-proof paper provided in the book, the iron-on labels are easy to do – it takes literally seconds (12 to be exact, according to the ‘How To Guide’.)

So useful. So easy to use. Machine washable. Dishwasher proof. Microwave proof. Fun to design. Quick delivery. A great gift. What’s not to love? I’ll definitely be heading back for more.
